I read an article today about a dog that had been left in a parked car during a warm day and it reminded me that the temperatures are starting to get warmer as we approach summer. I know that people love to take their pets with them, and I know their pets enjoy it - until they find themselves struggling to cool off while locked in a car. Keep this in mind now that the temperatures are getting warmer outside. You can print little flyers to stick under someones windshield wiper whenever you see an animal in a parked car on a warm day. They can be found here: www.mydogiscool.com/b_flyer.php And, of course, it is important to keep the phone number for the humane society in your cell phone. If you see an animal in danger, call them immediately. For Weld County: 506-9550 and for Larimer County: 226-3647

I've also added a link at the bottom of the homepage that will tell you whether the weather is too hot to take your pet with you! Check it out: www.North85Community.com
